This major review of research published by greenspace scotland and the Quality of Life partnership relates to the links between greenspace and a range of quality of life issues.  It is hoped that the review will help disseminate existing research findings and to inform the need for future research.

The areas reviewed were:

• health and wellbeing
• social and community value of greenspaces
• economic value/impacts of greenspaces
• environmental value of greenspaces
• planning and design

Robust search criteria were applied so that this was a critical literature review with a strong emphasis on quality research.
